How to reserve a trade name with SBC
Reserve your company name with SBC before you prepare Articles of Association. The reservation lasts for a fixed period — don’t let it expire.

Sign in to the Saudi Business Center
Use the account of an owner or authorised representative.

Start a trade name reservation
Choose the legal form and enter the names you want to check.

Review availability and naming rules
The portal shows whether each name is available or conflicts with existing names.

Pay the reservation fee
The fee and reservation period are shown before you pay.

Download the reservation certificate
Keep it — you’ll need the reserved name for Articles of Association.

- National ID or iqama of the applicant
- MISA investment licence, if your company has a foreign owner
- Power of attorney, if a representative applies
